I desire to gently walk across someone's heart and step away having left a positive, life-changing impact with the writing and poetry God provides through me for His glory.

Have you ever known you needed to do something ...something you had never done before? If you've had a relationship with Jesus for even a short time, you know you've experienced this very thing. The Lord will ask us to do something that never crossed our minds. He will put this idea in our thoughts and it will become like a heartfelt reminder until we just step out in faith with Him and do it.
This is where I am right now. Never did I envision I would have a website. Never did I imagine I would create a website myself that would share my writings, poetry and offer an option to leave a prayer request for me to pray with strangers ...and friends alike. Well, here I am …obeying my Heavenly Father and doing all of the above.
Human beings have a commonality - no matter where we grew up, who we are or what dreams we have.
We are all human.

My family and I happen to have had the privilege of not only being human but actually living HUMAN …since it is our name! I always knew the Lord would have me do something creative and ministering with this amazing and beautiful name - for His glory. AND …what a fun name it has been to carry and grow up with. I will share more of the blast it has been as you experience this adventure with me.

I will learn as I go …I know He will teach me. Thank you for your prayers and patience with me as I toddle along as a newbie in this web arena. I am excited to share what the Lord is instructing me to in this internet excursion with each one of you.

A favorite Scripture of mine and very much referenced through my life is:

Proverbs 3:5, 6 -
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (6) in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

So, here I am. I find myself reaching for it even now …as I step out in faith …once again.

Who Is Tammie Human Burgin?
Tammie Human Burgin is a writer –blessed to grow up in a Christian home –honored to be the granddaughter of a Pastor. She does not take for granted hearing the Name of Jesus before she even took her first breath.
SHE KNOWS –Luke 12:48 …to whom much is given much is required.
Her desire to extend the love, the knowledge, the Truth of Jesus is her mission –her ministry –for such a time as this.
The love and priority she has for her Savior, husband –Scott, sons –Tyler and Zachary and daughter-in-love –Katie, is the definition of who she is and what drives her.
She continues to minister in writing and in prayer what the Lord has done, who He is to her and how someone can know Jesus as their personal Savior.
It is her heart to share the love of God …to one …to all …FOR HIS GLORY!
James- the Less, A Disciple of Jesus, is our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for November.
Do you have unanswered prayers today, friend? I implore you- do not be discouraged. God knows the plans He has for you. I, too, have known seasons where certain appeals seemed to go unnoticed.
Something I gleaned in those challenging days was to first ask God to search me and see if any wicked way was in me (Psalm 139:23-24) causing my prayers to be blocked from God. Next, I inquired of the Lord what He wanted to teach me during this time.
As I sought Him, one thing He showed me was to write down my morning prayer over my family. When I did, He instructed me to rewrite it from a position of petition to a jubilant posture. In other words, from requests to rejoicing.
So, I wrote the following-
“Dear God, I rejoice in the plans you have for my family!”
Only, I wrote this as a sentence for each individual in my family by name- including those to be added to our family, our walks with God, our walks with each other, and us as a family.
The Lord hasn’t always answered prayers when I wanted, how I envisioned, or where I hoped. However, He has been faithfully with me through the process, in the waiting, and as He provided according to His will in every detail all for our good and all for the glory of Jesus!
Our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for November- James, the Less- might have lived with unanswered prayers, too. We don’t really know. Yet, if most of us would be honest- we would say we know what it is to have delayed answers and -even - unanswered prayers.
I submit to you- what we do with the unanswered prayers makes the difference, friend!

Unanswered prayers can be a gift, a protection, or a lesson. I know of an unanswered prayer in my life that after years of praying and seeking God- there has been no change in the situation. I truly believe God has had His hand on us. In recent years He has given me peace to accept His wisdom. I might not understand His ways even today, but He instructs us in His Word to trust Him.
Proverbs 3:5-6 KJV
5 Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
6 In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
Have you got an unanswered prayer, dear Reader? Be encouraged that God has you- He is with you, and He is for you. I suggest that you continue to seek Him in prayer and be still before Him. He will meet you regarding the issue in His way. He will answer your prayer, provide you with instructions, or give you peace- even if you cannot see the why. However He responds, you will know He has and you will be better because of it …for His ways are higher!
Isaiah 55:9 KJV
For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts.
I pray God’s perfect will for you right now in whatever matters concern you, friend. Unanswered Prayers …allow God to meet you there. Whatever the outcome, you will never be the same again because of His hand in your life.
Oh, my friend- in the quiet before God at this moment- be saturated in His presence. Rest in the absolute assurance that Jesus loves you so!

James the Less
A Disciple of Jesus
Matthew 10:2-4
The HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for the month of November - James- The Less, A Disciple of Jesus.
James- The Less, A Disciple of Jesus, is our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for November.
There is not much written about our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection- James the Less. However, we know that he was called by Jesus to be one of His disciples.
Matthew 10:2-4 NIV
2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
James the Less was the name this human was referred to either for being younger or little. There are other possible reasons for him being referenced as such, but scripture does not give an indication for it. Either way, with such a referral, one could argue that a struggle could have waged within this HUMAN of the Bible Reflection.
We all succumb to the lies of the enemy at times. My prayer is that you know who Jesus says you are and you resist the devil’s aggression. None of us should be feeling less than all because of who we are in Christ Jesus, friend!

No difficult circumstance, no smug judgment, no undeserved name can keep you from the hand of God. Jesus says who you are- walk with Him and live your life in such a way that the enemy shrinks back from messing with you!
