Human Living Ministry ... originated from
"Living Human" all of my life! Additionally, it was birthed through years of writing, but more importantly - years of prayer.
I desire to gently walk across someone's heart and step away having left a positive, life-changing impact with the writing and poetry God provides through me for His glory.

-
May the hurting know His love
-
May the lonely know His presence
-
May the lost know His salvation and friendship
-
May the damaged know His reconstruction
-
May the fallen know His recovery
-
May the rejected know they are welcomed by Him
-
May all receive His forgiveness with repentance and recognize they are a part of ...
The Family of God

For the someone who is interested in knowing Jesus - I am here to share how you can.
For the someone who needs prayer - this is a place to leave a prayer request and I will pray.
For the someone who needs an encouraging read - you will find it here.

My writings are all for the glory of Jesus Christ - my Savior and Lord.

Author and Writer

Have you ever known you needed to do something ...something you had never done before? If you've had a relationship with Jesus for even a short time, you know you've experienced this very thing. The Lord will ask us to do something that never crossed our minds. He will put this idea in our thoughts and it will become like a heartfelt reminder until we just step out in faith with Him and do it.
This is where I am right now. Never did I envision I would have a website. Never did I imagine I would create a website myself that would share my writings, poetry and offer an option to leave a prayer request for me to pray with strangers ...and friends alike. Well, here I am …obeying my Heavenly Father and doing all of the above.
Human beings have a commonality - no matter where we grew up, who we are or what dreams we have.
We are all human.

My family and I happen to have had the privilege of not only being human but actually living HUMAN …since it is our name! I always knew the Lord would have me do something creative and ministering with this amazing and beautiful name - for His glory. AND …what a fun name it has been to carry and grow up with. I will share more of the blast it has been as you experience this adventure with me.

I will learn as I go …I know He will teach me. Thank you for your prayers and patience with me as I toddle along as a newbie in this web arena. I am excited to share what the Lord is instructing me to in this internet excursion with each one of you.

A favorite Scripture of mine and very much referenced through my life is:

Proverbs 3:5, 6 -
Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (6) in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

So, here I am. I find myself reaching for it even now …as I step out in faith …once again.

Welcome, my human friends! I look forward to this journey as it offers a place to be a unique part of the human family.

Let's gather together in this place of commonality ...as we all are ...living human./.

I will meet you here - at

I Peter 4:11
If anyone speaks, they should do so as one who speaks the very words of God. If anyone serves, they should do so with the strength God provides, so that in all things God may be praised through Jesus Christ.
To Him be the glory and the power for ever and ever. Amen.

It is her heart to share the love of God …to one …to all …FOR HIS GLORY!

James- the Less, A Disciple of Jesus, is our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for November.
Matthew 10:2-4 NIV
2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
This human does not have much documented about the way he met Jesus, when Jesus specifically called him to be His disciple, or even his ministry.
Mark 3:14-19 KJV
14 And he ordained twelve, that they should be with him, and that he might send them forth to preach,
15 And to have power to heal sicknesses, and to cast out devils:
16 And Simon he surnamed Peter;
17 And James the son of Zebedee, and John the brother of James; and he surnamed them Boanerges, which is, The sons of thunder:
18 And Andrew, and Philip, and Bartholomew, and Matthew, and Thomas, and James the son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus, and Simon the Canaanite,
19 And Judas Iscariot, which also betrayed him: and they went into an house.
We know James- the Less is referenced as James the son of Alphaeus in verse 18. There is no explanation as to the reason this human was called James- the Less. What was it about this human that he was given this name? Was he a younger brother? Maybe he was shorter in stature that brought this moniker.
There is even the possibility that it had the meaning of less importance, according to my research. We do not have evidence of the exact cause for this designation.
With any of these as potential factors for the depiction of “the Less” added to such a strong name as James- we can just imagine that difficulties might have emerged. Life is challenging enough without being submerged in negative titles, unfavorable labels, and damaging identities. Would that world of adverse epithets contribute to a deficit in self-esteem and confidence? If that was the case for this disciple, did it result in him walking with a limp?
Such a happening doesn’t have to be physical. The enemy will prey on any weakness- physical, emotional, or mental. A spiritual fray can also be described as “walking with a limp.”
Let’s look at this together- friend. Could it have been that our HUMAN of the Bible struggled with things such as feeling less than? There was something about him that still made Jesus pause. Our Lord invited James- the Less to be one of His disciples, appellant and all.
A stagger or limp on our own personal voyage might exist. BUT GOD, friend …BUT GOD! He sees more in us than our weaknesses, our limitations, our struggles, or our troubles. In fact, He tells us in
II Corinthians 12:9 specifically that in our weakness- He is strong!
Are you walking with a limp in some form today, dear Reader? Jesus is here to meet you- you need only reach out to Him and ask Him to be Lord of your life. Please contact me at thumanburgin@gmail.com and share your request. You can know, I will be glad to pray with you.
Additionally, you can visit my Invitation and Prayer page for further information on what it means to invite Jesus to be your Savior.
My Prayer Request page has a form that you can complete and submit with your prayer requests, if you prefer that option.
We all have encountered walking with a limp in various ways. John 10:10 states that the adversary of our souls- the devil- is out to kill, steal, and destroy however he can. HUMAN Living Ministry is available to provide understanding and insight of Jesus and His protection for you. He will be a shield so the enemy does not succeed in his plans against you.
Jesus is greater than all circumstances. He is more than what is tripping you up. Friend, He will never abandon you. Our amazing God sees you beyond the stagger that has become a part of your name. He calls you HIS DISCIPLE in spite of any stumble attached to your journey as you accept His assignment. Oh, I pray you do!
May you surrender to God this day. May you be enveloped in His precious presence this very moment. May you be assured when walking with a limp, that Jesus is by your side at this time. May you recognize this instant how much Jesus loves you so!

James the Less

A Disciple of Jesus
Matthew 10:2-4
The HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for the month of November - James- The Less, A Disciple of Jesus.
James- The Less, A Disciple of Jesus, is our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for November.
There is not much written about our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection- James the Less. However, we know that he was called by Jesus to be one of His disciples.
Matthew 10:2-4 NIV
2 These are the names of the twelve apostles: first, Simon (who is called Peter) and his brother Andrew; James son of Zebedee, and his brother John;
3 Philip and Bartholomew; Thomas and Matthew the tax collector; James son of Alphaeus, and Thaddaeus;
4 Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed him.
James the Less was the name this human was referred to either for being younger or little. There are other possible reasons for him being referenced as such, but scripture does not give an indication for it. Either way, with such a referral, one could argue that a struggle could have waged within this HUMAN of the Bible Reflection.
We all succumb to the lies of the enemy at times. My prayer is that you know who Jesus says you are and you resist the devil’s aggression. None of us should be feeling less than all because of who we are in Christ Jesus, friend!
This month our Weekly Theme and Blog discussions will be as follows:
-
Feeling Less Than?
-
Walking With a Limp?
-
