Human Living Ministry WELCOME!

Human Living Ministry ... originated from

"Living Human" all of my life!  Additionally, it was birthed through years of writing, but more importantly - years of prayer.

I desire to gently walk across someone's heart and step away having left a positive, life-changing impact with the writing and poetry God provides through me for His glory.

  • May the hurting know His love

  • May the lonely know His presence

  • May the lost know His salvation and friendship

  • May the damaged know His reconstruction

  • May the fallen know His recovery

  • May the rejected know they are welcomed by Him

  • May all receive His forgiveness with repentance and recognize they are a part of ...

       The Family of God

For the someone who is interested in knowing Jesus - I am here to share how you can.

For the someone who needs prayer - this is a place to leave a prayer request and I will pray.

For the someone who needs an encouraging read - you will find it here.

My writings are all for the glory of Jesus Christ - my Savior and Lord.

Have you ever known you needed to do something ...something you had never done before? If you've had a relationship with Jesus for even a short time, you know you've experienced this very thing. The Lord will ask us to do something that never crossed our minds. He will put this idea in our thoughts and it will become like a heartfelt reminder until we just step out in faith with Him and do it.

This is where I am right now.  Never did I envision I would have a website. Never did I imagine I would create a website myself that would share my writings, poetry and offer an option to leave a prayer request for me to pray with strangers ...and friends alike.  Well, here I am …obeying my Heavenly Father and doing all of the above.

Human beings have a commonality - no matter where we grew up, who we are or what dreams we have.

We are all human.

My family and I happen to have had the privilege of not only being human but actually living HUMAN …since it is our name!  I always knew the Lord would have me do something creative and ministering with this amazing and beautiful name - for His glory.  AND …what a fun name it has been to carry and grow up with. I will share more of the blast it has been as you experience this adventure with me.

I will learn as I go …I know He will teach me.  Thank you for your prayers and patience with me as I toddle along as a newbie in this web arena.  I am excited to share what the Lord is instructing me to in this internet excursion with each one of you.

A favorite Scripture of mine and very much referenced through my life is:

Proverbs 3:5, 6 -

Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; (6) in all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will direct your path.

So, here I am.  I find myself reaching for it even now …as I step out in faith …once again.

Welcome, my human friends!  I look forward to this journey as it offers a place to be a unique part of the human family.

Let's gather together in this place of commonality ...as we all are ...living human./.

I will meet you here - at

A Friend Shared Jesus

Bible

In April our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection was Philip, A Disciple of Jesus.  We learned at that time about his friend Nathanael.  When Jesus found Philip and became one of

His disciples the first thing he did was go to his friend.  Nathanael learned about Jesus from his friend, Philip.  Not only did his friend, Philip, share Jesus with him but he took him to meet Jesus face to face.

John 1:43--45 NIV

43 The next day Jesus decided to leave for Galilee. Finding Philip, he said to him, “Follow me.”

44 Philip, like Andrew and Peter, was from the town of Bethsaida.

45 Philip found Nathanael and told him, “We have found the one Moses wrote about in the Law, and about whom the prophets also wrote—Jesus of Nazareth, the son of Joseph.”

What a wonderful testimony for our HUMAN of the Bible.  Philip, his friend, cared enough for Nathanael to run straight to him after meeting Jesus himself.  When Philip saw Nathanael he immediately shared the exciting, good news of Jesus with his friend!

This is what HUMAN Living Ministry is all about this is what I am about sharing Jesus with you, my friend!

John 3:16 KJV

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Dear Reader, Jesus loves you so much.  He wants to be your Savior and Lord – your very best friend.  I want to share Him with you here.  We are all human, and we all have a story.  Jesus before us, right?  He came to earth as human – yet He was still God - Philippians 2:6-7 – and what a story He has.  Oh, friend, He is worthy of all our praise!

The following Scriptures provide you with reference to what He did to show you His love for you:

The Life of Jesus

  • Luke 1:26-35- Mary

  • Matthew 1:18-25- Joseph

  • Luke 2:8-14 - Shepherds

  • Matthew 2:7-12 - Wise Men

  • John 1:1, 14 - The Word

  • Hebrews 4:15 - Jesus as God and human

  • Luke 2:52 - Jesus grew

  • Luke 3:23 - Jesus began His early ministry

  • Matthew 27:1-28:20 - Jesus’s Death & Resurrection

  • John 3:16 - For God so loved

  • Ephesians 3:19 - Know His love

Should you want prayer, I am glad to pray with you.  Please visit my Prayer Request page and submit a completed prayer request form for salvation or any other reason.  I assure you, friend, I will pray with you.

I can be reached for questions

or comments at

thumanburgin@gmail.com, as well.

The most important page is my Invitation and Prayer page if you want to know more about receiving Jesus as your personal Savior.  I invite you to stop by.

My prayer is that HUMAN Living Ministry and I are viewed as a friend sharing Jesus and the Good News of His life and love to a lost and dying world.  This is the greatest moment of your life.  Will you choose to pray and with a repentant heart - ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior - surrendering everything about you and your world to Him?

If you already have, will you make a commitment to Him for a deeper understanding and stronger relationship with Him?  Oh, my friend - my prayer is that you make this choice with our amazing God. He is here waiting for your invitation.  I assure you, He will make all things new and you will never be the same.

II Corinthians 5:17 KJV

Therefore, if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become.

A friend shared Jesus …I pray this is the description of you and me, dear Reader.  May we be known for sharing the Good News of Jesus with all we encounter.

Dear Reader, be confident of this I am here at HUMAN Living Ministry praying for you every day.  Stop by anytime.  I am so glad you do.

Remember …Jesus loves you so!

A Disciple of Jesus

John 1:43-45

The HUMAN of the Bible Reflection for the month of August -  Thaddeus, A Disciple of Jesus.

Thaddeus was known by the name Judas (not Iscariot), in the writings of John, the disciple.  Matthew and Mark referred to him as Thaddeus, and Luke called him Judas, son of James.  In my research, I learned that Judas was a common name.  Thaddeus was a nickname and it meant gentle soul that has a tender child-like heart.

This clearly explains why Thaddeus was a quiet unassuming human.  With this restrained demeanor, Jesus saw him and chose him to be one of His disciples.   There is not much mentioned about him in Scripture.  He is listed as one of Jesus’s disciples.

Matthew 10:1-4 KJV

And when he had called unto him his twelve disciples, he gave them power against unclean spirits, to cast them out, and to heal all manner of sickness and all manner of disease.

2 Now the names of the twelve apostles are these; The first, Simon, who is called Peter, and Andrew his brother; James the son of Zebedee, and John his brother;

3 Philip, and Bartholomew; Thomas, and Matthew the publican; James the son of Alphaeus, and Lebbaeus, whose surname was Thaddaeus;

4 Simon the Canaanite, and Judas Iscariot, who also betrayed him.

Thaddeus was a nickname and it meant gentle soul that has a tender child-like heart.

Each one of Jesus’s disciples had a unique personality and character.  Some are discussed more than others - so much so that it can seem as though we know them personally.  Unfortunately, others are not known as well and do not have much shared about their relationship with Jesus or their ministry in Scripture.

There is something about you, dear Reader, that Jesus sees and chooses you.   If you will accept His call for your life, you will never regret it.  Jesus will change your life as He reveals the plans He has for you.  I encourage you to welcome Jesus into your life - repent and receive Him as your personal Savior.

Unassuming …quiet, demure, down-to-earth or projecting, bold, big personality …either way …our amazing God knows you, sees you, and cares for you more than you can comprehend.  I am here to pray with you or answer any questions I can, if you want to reach out to me.

There is not much mentioned about our HUMAN of the Bible for this month.  However, there was definitely something that Jesus saw in him.  With that, it caused Him to call Thaddeus to be one His disciples.

This scenario of not being mentioned might be something one resonates with while reading about Thaddeus.  When we are referenced in daily life, there is a sense of validation and value.

Many times we find ourselves behind the scenes.  These positions don’t get the attention.  They aren’t in the limelight.  Sometimes they are neglected and taken for granted, unintentionally - of course.

If you have this important task of offering your greatest contribution from behind the scenes, but you sometimes feel unnoticed or unmentioned - please know you are seen!  Our amazing God sees you and He calls you to this occasion for His glory.

Psalm 139:7-10 NIV

7 Where can I go from your Spirit?

Where can I flee from your presence?

8 If I go up to the heavens, you are there;

if I make my bed in the depths, you are there.

9 If I rise on the wings of the dawn,

if I settle on the far side of the sea,

10 even there your hand will guide me,

your right hand will hold me fast.

Servant leaders are the most valuable people in the world.  They have the power to change our lives.  Our HUMAN of the Bible Reflection - Thaddeus, A Disciple of Jesus - represents a servant leader as we learn what we can about him.  In an opportunity to have such a role as servant leader, behind the scenes with an unassuming character - we glean how essential it is to arise, shine and allow the light of Jesus to be seen.   This is what God created Thaddeus - and each of us - to be for Him.  We know our HUMAN of the Bible chose to - will we do the same?

Should you desire prayer for your particular behind the scenes task, I am so glad to pray with you.  Please visit my Prayer Request page and submit a completed prayer request form.  I assure you, I will pray with you.

I can be reached at thumanburgin@gmail.com for questions or comments, as well.

The most important page is my Invitation and Prayer page if you want to know more about receiving Jesus as your personal Savior.  I welcome you to stop by.

There is not much said about Thaddeus, yet we can learn so much.  As we study together this month - be assured that you matter to God.  You matter in the lives of those He has called you to, the position He has placed you in, and the people who you are now in the power to make a difference for His glory.

Let us be better humans as we get to know this unassuming HUMAN of the Bible - Thaddeus, A Disciple of Jesus.  I pray you find God’s way for you to be more than you imagined.

Thank you for stopping by …I’m so glad you did.  You’re welcome to stop anytime. I will meet you here at HUMAN Living Ministry!  Always remember, dear Reader, Jesus loves you so!
